Interview with Commercial Art Teacher
In 2016 our school, Lakshmipat Singhania Academy was given a great opportunity to “unite” with various other schools and decorate a pandal for Durga Puja. We got information from our school authorities that the LEADER of the team of students was our Commercial Art Teacher. We approached him and requested him for a direct / indirect interview so that our team can learn something from him. Due to pandemic, he agreed for a zoom meeting in the evening after his online classes. It was extremely pleasurable to know about how the activity was performed by our school students and the lessons of “team work and tolerance” was learnt by the us.
Interview with Mr. Bimal Samanta
In 2018-19, our school had hosted a US student Dane Lieberman who was extremely interested in building and creating structures for Durga Puja. Our Principal ma’am sent him to Mr Bimal to learn various types of arts. Our teacher helped to get in touch with the famous artist. He invited us to his studio to have a talk with him. Although with the pandemic around, we were not leaving our homes, but still took up this wonderful opportunity and booked an appointment with him. His studio was a beautiful sight with all wonderful artefacts around. We talked about all his experiences and the difficulties during Pandemic.
